  • 4 oz Colby Jack cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot)

Instructions

  2. Stir the ingredients until well mixed and evenly distributed in the crock pot.
  3. Set the crock pot to LOW and cook for 1½ to 2 hours, stirring occasionally to ensure even melting and heating.
  4. Once the dip is hot, creamy, and smooth, switch the crock pot to WARM for serving.
  5. Serve the dip with your choice of dippers, such as tortilla chips, celery sticks, carrot sticks, or warm pita bread.

Notes

  • Substitute canned chicken with shredded rotisserie or cooked chicken breast for extra flavor.
  • Neufchatel cheese can be used for a lighter version.
  • Blue cheese dressing or Greek yogurt with ranch seasoning are good ranch substitutes.
  • Adjust the buffalo sauce amount to make the dip as mild or spicy as you prefer.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
